Access Nature Forum Meeting
Meeting Date - October 11th at 7 pm
The Access Nature Forum is a place to have conversations about improving access to natural places. We aim to engage those with disabilities, their families, caregivers, veterans’ groups, assisted living organizations, advocacy groups, nonprofit organizations, state, and local officials, and agencies in a public discourse that identifies public interest, concerns, and ideas, and join their voices for improving access to natural places.
We will hold quarterly conversations via Zoom.
If you are interested in participating please fill out the sign-up form below.
Each meeting has a theme and for October we will get to know our parks! Join us for a conversation with Matthew Johnson who is the Coordinator for Open Space Acquisition & Park Development with Burlington County Parks. He will discuss his role, current projects and initiatives, and ADA-Accessible trails and amenities within the county park system. He will cover opportunities for networking, information on funding opportunities and resources, and how to get involved as well as how the public can support ongoing projects. We will discuss our goals to make the outdoors more inclusive and accessible for individuals with special needs. At the end of his discussion there will be time to ask questions.
When you RSVP to attend and the Zoom meeting link will be sent to you automatically by email. Make sure to check your spam/junk folder. A recording will be available if you are unable to attend.
