The state Pinelands Commission is the main agency in charge of protecting the New Jersey Pinelands. Governor Murphy nominated five highly qualified people to serve in March. His nominations have yet to be voted on by the full Senate - a critical step before they can serve. The Senate Judiciary must take action so the Senate can take a vote.
