New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) must get permission from the state Pinelands Commission in order to construct a 28-mile long, high pressure natural gas pipeline - a portion of which goes through the Pinelands National Reserve. They are accepting public comment on this project until August 2, 2017. Please submit your comments today. Learn more here.
NJNG's “Southern Reliability Link” would go from Chesterfield in Burlington County to Manchester in Ocean County, through Joint Military Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in the New Jersey Pinelands. This pipeline violates Pinelands rules and threatens the integrity of the entire plan to protect the Pinelands.
Please take action by August 2, 2017.
